These bargraphs are records of twitter data collected during the Coronavirus outbreak in 8 countries.
We have webscraped twitter data with the word 'coronavirus' from the top ten countries with Coronavirus Infections.
We then extracted tweets with economic terms in them and divided counted the amount of negative and positive terms in them.
The code for webscraping and data engineering is available here!

1. Amount of Tweets about the Economy per country

Period: February 11th ~ March 31st

When reading the sentiment analysis bargraph, please take into consideration the different amount of datasets that were collected in each country. Some countries did not have as much economic terms that were used and that may be the cause for a big difference between the amount of data used.

Swiss and Spain have the most dramatic differences between the amount of positive and negative terms used. For these countries approximately 70% to 80% percent of the tweets about the economy are negative
For other countries, there isn't a dramatic difference between the amount positive and negative terms used. However, we could find a overall trend of negative terms more frequently used.
